IF you had to blame someone or something for the outcasts deaths who/what would you blame and why?
-Uncle Billy
-citizens of Poker Flat
-bad luck
-outcasts
*********************
If I had to blame someone for the outcasts deaths I would blame the outcasts themselves. I would blame the outcasts themselves because they were the ones who made their own decisions to become who they were. If it wasn't because of them and who they turn out to be, they would of never been kicked out of Poker Flat. I think its their own fault because they decided to be robbers, prostitutes, or whatever bad things they were because they wanted to, even though they knew that consequences will soon come. When their bad luck came it was all because they deserve it and now they had to go through it. This is why I blame the Outcasts themselves for their death.

Desiree's Baby

He re-read the letter over and over again. "No it can't be true!" He cried. He looked around to see if somebody was looking "I can't be black!!" he whispered in a loud voice making sure no one listened. Unfornutally that didn't help at all. He wish he was death, he didn't have a right to live, he was black and that meant he wasn't worth it. "How could this be! Why mother?"

Armand left the fire on and just went into his house and started to cry. He thought about everything "I shouldn't let her go. Desiree come back, I need you!" He thought about it and rushed outside to look for Desiree, it was too late she had already left. He wanted to apoligize, he wanted to go to Valmode and bring Desiree back with his son, but he couldn't present himself this way. He had to get over this first and will then go and bring the women he mostly loved back. He didn't know what to do, what was he going to tell Desiree, Will Desiree accept him the way he is or will she just leave and feel sorry for him. All these thoughts just made Armand loose his strenght to go see Desiree.

He looked outside the window, and saw how his slaves worked hard. He felt embarrass of who he really was. He was one of them, he had the black blood inside him, he had slavery inside him. He should be one of them, and t just made him fell sorry for all of them. He just wanted to die. He went to the mirror and looked at himself. "..my skin is fair. Look at my hand; its whiter than yours." Desiree's words repeated in his head. He was ashame for blaming her when it really was him. He looked once again in the mirror and just couldn't hadle imagining himself as a black person. He started to punch the mirror and just broke it.

He spent days without eating, and just wouldn't do nothing. One day he ended up in the hospital, and everybody knew about it, but they didn't know why he was going through this big depression, he wouldn't tell no one.

Flowers for Algernon

If I was given the chance to take an operation to get much smarter I won't do it because it will be too risky and not worth it. I won't do this because if you have this you will only value it for a while, you will fall in love with your skills you have, and suddenly they will all be taken away from you because you know its temporary. I also won't do it because you never know what will happpen, its an experiment an you just won't know if it will function or just do nothing. I think it will only be a waste of time. I also won't want to be really smart because that way you can loose some friends because they will get annoyed with you. For Example when Charlie became smart and people realized it, they got jelous and didn't talk to him anymore, but when he came back to work in the factory as himself his friends that once use to be the persons who made fun of him were defending him from the person who took advantage of him. Anyways I'm happy that atleast I know how to read and write, and thats just important and I don't think its that neccessary to be really smart.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Explain what this story says about each of these issues:-FAMILY-AGE-BEAUTY. Use examples from the story to support your explanations for each.

Family was a big issue in the book of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, I think that in this story the word Family didn't have a meaning. As you read in the book you see that there is no respect love and support in the Buttons Family, they never socialize as a family. This shows that they really don't care about the family, and don't know what it means. For example as you read in the story you can see that Benjamin didn't get respect for who he was, nobody loved him that way he was, and he had no support. Sometimes people will make fun of him when he will say that he was a newborn baby, when he wants to go to college thay don't accept him because he is to old, when he goes to the colonel thay don't accept because he is too young whe he really is old. His parents can't accept him the way he is until they get use to him so it means they really didn't love him, Benjamin's son hates the benjamin is and looks at him as a weirdo. Benjamin doesn't have any support and has to go through everything alone, the critizes and the problems. As you can see when Benjamin has his own family, he don't know what a family is because later he don't love his wife but feels embarass of her because she is to old when he looks young, His son doesn't want to hang out with him because he looks to old to be Benjamin's son.

Age is another big issue in this Story. Age is a really weird action for Benjamin, and a really uncommon thing. Each time he is one year old he gets younger instead of getting older. Age is backwards here, he born as an old man and gets younger as time passes, and he knows one day he will be a baby and everything will turn dark. You could see age is a really important thing, age is required for everything. You can't go to college if your too old because when Benjamin goes to college when he is 18 they don't accept because he looks to old and doesn't look like 18. When he goes to the colonel to get his position he don't get accepted because he looks to young when he really is old enough to take the position. In this story you could also see that in love there is no age a young women could marry an old man, or a young man can marry an old women, but the most important thing is to love each other and not be enbarrass with who you are.

Beauty is another issue in The Case of Benjamin Button. In this story they will make Benjamin look ugly throughout his life. When he was newborn they wouldn't like him because he looked to old and when he was an older person his son wouldn't accept him because he looke to young to be his father. Benjamin and his relatives will always have to worry for him to look the right way. Benjamin couldn't help it, so he just let it on.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Chapter3-7

After reading chapters 3-7, predict three problems you think Benjamin will encounter and give your solution for each.

Three problems I predict Benjamin will encounter

1. Will be that suddenly he will divorce his wife because she is getting older and he is getting younger. A solution for this will be to tell her wife the truth because he won't want to hurt her or cheat on her, I think it will be better to divorce her. 2. He will suddenly be a real new born baby, and it would be like if he had died. A solution for this problem will be to get a plan ready on what he's gonna have to do when this happens because he's going to leave everything behind even his son. He is going to loose all his knowledge and skills he once use to have. 3. He would be a kid when his son is a man. The best solution for this is to tell his son the thruth since he is becoming younger when his son is getting older, one day Benjamin will loose his skill and the best thing to do is teach him everything he knows before it is too late, that way he would be a good father for him.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Chapter 2

Roger is so overly concerned with how Benjamin looks and is worried about what people are going to say. What should he do?

If Roger is so overly concerned of how Benjamin looks and is worried about what people are going to think why dosen't he lies and say that the old man is not his son but just an old friend. He could lie and say that his real son died after an hour born. I think maybe that will be the best way on doing this.

The Curious case of Benjamin Button, Chapter 1

What would you have done if you were Roger Button in Chapter 1?

What I would have done if I was Roger Button, was refuse to beleive that, he was my baby. When I will first see him I would be shock because my baby was born older than me, and I would also be ambarrass because that was just not normal for a baby to be born older than his father. I don't know what I would have decided to do with my baby if he was older than me. It would be a hard one to choose from keeping him or just reject him.

Come back

I need you to come back
This heart can’t really rest if your not next to it
Why keep laughing, when I feel you aren’t here
Why I want the seas, if my boat will soon sink
Why keep on breathing, if you're really far away
Now I’m here sitting thinking when I gave you my back
My heart fades of thirst, but you still won’t come back
Now I became convince that nothing matters in life, if you aren’t here next to me
I felt the sun too dark, I felt something was missing in me
I saw you and the hole was filled inside me
The sound of silence, the one I don’t want to hear
The minutes pass and pass, in my dark solitude
Every minute of silence I think of you
But you still won’t come back, and I''m missing you too much
I guess falling in love with you was the biggest mistake I've done
It really hurts me now, here deep in my heart
Because you wont come back.
